A business architect has a very strategic job in a company. They are reliable and are trusted with the transformation of the business as well as supervising many different critical outcomes. There are man diverse things a business architect has to do, however, the most important job they do is supporting different strategic goals and tactical requests.

There are certain components of business architecture that helps define the discipline a bit better. The components also assists in delivering technological control that are business aligned to other areas in the enterprise architecture. Here are some of those components.

  • The business motivation: The mission, vision, objectives, strategies, etc.
  • The products and services provided by the business.
  • The capabilities and processes of the buisness.
  • The information objects of the business, so the information of the customers and the products.
