It is a statutory and autonomous body and was established on 1st January 1966 under Maharashtra Secondary board Act 1965 and remains one of the most well known boards in India. But surprisingly, unlike other state boards, the headquarters of Maharashtra board is located in Pune, and not in the capital Mumbai. It has two official languages, Hindi and Marathi. Students from about 21,000 schools appeared for their SSC examinations in 2015.

This year, SSC board examinations started on 3rd March and concluded on 26th March 2015. The Maharashtra Board SSC examination 2015 was conducted in two shifts – first shift in the morning from 11 am till 2 pm and second shift in the afternoon from 3pm till 6pm.

Over the last decade, the trends of Maharashtra Board has been in line with previous year, with a marginal deviation, looking at numbers last year, around 15,55,984 students had registered the Maharashtra Board Class SSC Exam in the year 2014 comprising of 8,50,663 boys and 7,05,321 girls. Average passing percentage across the state stood at 88.32, with girls leading with 90.55% pass results, and boys marginally trailing with 86.47%, Konkan division had highest overall pass percentage last year with a whopping 95.57%, so this year too, we expect it to be same in terms of percentage.
Getting good results is imperative to get into the desired stream, especially for science, wherein the colleges increase cut offs on year on year basis.

For this year’s MAH SSC results, the actual mark sheet can be obtained from the school office from 7 days of the announcement of the results. We advise you to visit this page for most recent updates. Students with any grievances in terms of marks obtained in a particular subject or entire result can opt for revaluation by requesting for it wherein students would need to pay Rs.400 to get the photocopy of their answer script and Rs.300 per paper in order to apply for a revaluation. Revaluation form will be issued within a few days after SSC result 2015.

- In the box located at the center, under latest announcement click SSC results.
- To get your results, you will have to confirm your entry by clicking on the ‘Submit’ button.
- Once the confirmation has been given, the system will generate your exam results.
- If you wish to keep a copy of the same for your personal reference (which we recommend you do), then use the “Print” command to take a print out of the online result sheet.
- The online result sheet will indicate your scores in each subject of the Maharashtra SSC Examination 2015, as well as the total marks that you have secured and your final result status.
